That’s Life..

Sg. Siput was where it was going to be. I wanted the ceremony to be held there for so many reasons.  I guess I wanted to be surrounded by my family. I wanted to it to be in a familiar place..I wanted to be surrounded by my angel’s blessing. That was important.

I thought it was going to be blazing hot that day sebab selalunya kawasan ini memang begitu..but instead..the skies were not sunny but neither was it gloomy. Hujan renyai-renyai sedikit.. Orang yang datang melebihi 150 orang.. kelam kabut saudara maraku memasak kerana anggaran keluaraga hanya sekadar 100 orang. Terima kasih mereka yang telah hadir memberi restu.

I was bored..honestly..because I was stuck inside the room and was not allowed to go out. The best I could do was peek at the crowd that came and go. Those that came out, I managed to say hi and chat..but I was stuck inside the room nevertheless.

Everything was green, according to my favorite color.. down to the very last detail. My relatives helped to design the beautiful hantaran and and many more relatives memberi sumbangan untuk dijadikan hantaran ke Tanah Merah. Dari 9 dulang yang asal, akhirnya 21 dulang pula yang dihantar ke sana. Kepada semua yang telah memberi..I say thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Keluarga Aries sampai agak lambat kerana jauhnya Tanah Merah ke Sg. Siput. Aku tidak pasti apa yang telah dibincangkan di luar kerana aku tetap terpaksa menunggu di dalam bilik serba hijau itu. Namun aku terdengar bait bait percakapn berselang dgn gelak ketawa dari kedua belah pihak. That made me feel better..Everything was going smoothly.

Kemudian tiba waktu ibu Aries untuk menyarungkan cincin ke jari manisku. It was honestly..all a blur..things were going on so fast..i couldnt catch my breath..2 bentuk cincin disarung, 1 untuk merisik dan 1 untuk bertunang..n then there flashes everywhere when pictures were taken..I was honestly..still in a blur..

Aries came rushing into the room sampai ditepuk oleh ibunya..but he seemed to be in a blur too. Pictures of me n aries were then taken..with all my relatives laughing at Aries’s bluntness..masuk bilik sesuka hati..hehe

And then..it was over..they went out for some tea..and then left..I was from that moment his fiancee..promised to him..

I hope all will go well..and that we will one day..be together..forever..always..
